Resetarits Construction Corporation served as General Contractor for the renovation and expansion of the City of Lackawanna’s new City Hall at 2838 South Park Avenue. Designed by CPL, the project transformed the former Knights of Columbus building into a modern, approximately 20,000-square-foot municipal facility.
The project incorporated approximately 11,000 square feet of existing building space with nearly 8,000 square feet of new construction. A contemporary glass entrance, expansive curtain wall glazing, and a combination of modern exterior materials create a distinctive civic presence while giving the existing structure an entirely new purpose.
Inside, the building was extensively renovated to accommodate municipal offices, public service areas, Council functions, and supporting spaces. The project also included significant site improvements, including new parking areas, accessible sidewalks and pedestrian crossings, landscaping, and upgraded utilities.
Completed in 2026, the new Lackawanna City Hall brings municipal services together in a functional, welcoming environment designed to serve City employees and residents for years to come.
