The MRI project for Roswell Park was a 6,000-square-foot — second-floor building addition to an occupied hospital.
Resetarits was required to install structural steel reinforcement from the basement thru the first floor to accommodate for the addition of the new second-floor space. The steel reinforcement work was completed within the shipping and receiving area for the campus and remained 100% operational from 5 am to 8 pm six days a week.
The second-floor work that took place adjoined a fully operational MRI suite, in which all work completed was in accordance with strict infection control guidelines that were established between the hospital and Resetarits.
All exterior work including demolition, steel erection, masonry skin, and concrete roof took place during the winter construction months to ensure this hospital construction / medical construction project was a success!
